In a medium bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, chicken broth, sugar, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Set aside.
Heat ½ tablespoon of oil in a large nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Add the broccoli and cook until tender, about 4 minutes.
Add the ginger paste and minced garlic to the pan and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant. Remove the broccoli from the pan and set aside.
Add in the remaining ½ tablespoon of oil and increase the heat to medium-high.
Season the pork pieces with a little salt and pepper and add to the pan in a single layer for even cooking. You may have to cook your meat in batches. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
Lower the heat back to medium and add the broccoli back to the pan. Cook for 2 more minutes.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water.
Pour the sauce mixture over the pork and broccoli; cook for 30 seconds. Add the cornstarch mixture and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 1 minute or until sauce thickens.
Serve immediately.
