1cupvegetable oil
3tablespoonsdry ranch seasoning mix
1teaspoongarlic powder
¾teaspooncayenne pepper
8ouncesmini pretzelsI use Snyder's of Hanover Snap pretzels
8ouncescheese crackersI use the Extra Big Cheez-its
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°F.
In a medium bowl or 2-cup measuring cup, mix together the vegetable oil, dry ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
Put the pretzels and cheese crackers in a large baking pan such as a roasting pan. Pour the vegetable oil mixture over the pretzels and coat well.
Bake pretzels uncovered in the oven for 2 hours. Stir every 30 minutes to make sure the seasoning coats the snack mix well.
Remove from the oven and cool on a baking rack.
Notes
This snack mix will keep in an airtight container on the counter for a week. They honestly could keep well for longer, but my batch has never made it that far.
