What We Said
Ume – I was the only one to try this rainbow bagel baking kit. I bought it with the intention of a fun summer baking project with my daughter. But summer came and went and it lingered in my pantry for months. Since 2023 was wrapping up, now was the time to tackle bagels and not shy away from a yeast based bread.
And turns out it was an involved, but really cool experience. The directions were clear, the colors were vibrant, and most of all it was super fun to get into mixing the dough, boiling, and then baking. These bagels were pretty and we enjoyed them toasted with salted butter.
(I still have a pretzel and beer cheese and a chocolate donut kit to try!)
The Final Tidbit
FarmSteady provides most everything you need in the box except for very basic household staples. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to explore baking items they’ve never baked before!
