Located in the Eastside neighborhood of Issaquah Highlands, Danji Korean Cuisine has brought tasty and accessible Korean fare to the area. They offer everything from fried chicken to Bibimbap to Bulgogi and offer sit down as well as take away service.

We ordered a seafood pancake, bibimbap, rose tteokbokki, and fried chicken. The first items to arrive at the table were the banchan, the small side dishes. The cabbage and radish kimchi were flavorful. And the stir fried fish cake was a favorite.
The rose tteokbokki had small sausages with the rice cakes and a creamy gochujang sauce. Danji’s tteokbokki are larger than ones I normally see in this dish and I really enjoyed the chewy texture and flavor.
Next, was the seafood pancake and fried chicken. They were both fried to perfection, crispy, and tasty! The standouts were the batter on the fried chicken and the sweet and spicy sauce. There wasn’t a soggy piece and each mouthful was filled with crunch.
Lastly, the bibimbap was full of seasoned vegetables, pieces of bulgogi, and topped with a fried egg. It’s a fresh dish that had great flavor in every bite.
