Originally located in Fremont, Paseo has graced the Seattle area with their famous Caribbean sandwiches that have been featured on Food Network. Their sandwiches are inspired by Latin and Caribbean flavors and are piled high with various fillings from roasted pork to prawns. They also have great sides like Yuca fries and twice fried plantains.

The Paseo Press is a delicious, messy, every-bite-is-a-perfect-bite type of sandwich. With roasted pork shoulder, smoked ham, melty swiss cheese and more, this press is a must-have for visitors to Paseo.
I also recommend ordering a side of Tostones- twice-fried plantains served with chipotle aioli. The crispy Tostones are a perfect complement to the press!

My go-to sandwiches are either the Famous Caribbean Roast or Paseo Press. Both are loaded with tasty juicy pulled pork and caramelized onions that are amazing with their garlic aioli. Their baguette bread is also pretty good and holds up to all of the sauce and filling they throw at it.
I’ve recently tried the Smokin’ Thighs sandwich and found that one equally delicious.

As someone who always likes to try new menu items, I know something is irresistible when I can’t help but make the same order. I always go for the classic Caribbean Roast and am never disappointed! The tender and flavorful pork shoulder with huge slabs of caramelized onions are to-die-for and you’ll always have some extra falling out of your delicious toasted baguette.
Important for locals – Paseo now has 3 locations in the area so you’re never too far from your next sandwich.

I’ve tried the Paseo Press and the Classic Caribbean Roast, and I couldn’t choose a favorite out of the two. They were equally delicious! The meat is SO juicy and flavorful, and the caramelized onions make me drool just thinking about them. Together they create the most tender bite, and the bread does a great job of soaking up the juices while not getting soggy. Perfect for that special occasion sandwich or any day of the week for a savory, satisfying meal.
