Crumble and Flake is a cafe and patisserie located in cozy Gilman Village in Issaquah. They specialize in small batch French pastry and offer sandwiches, salads, and light lunch fare.
Their treats can be enjoyed in their cafe, at outdoor seating, or taken to-go for enjoyment at home.

Crumble and Flake has quickly become my go-to little cafe in Issaquah. It’s the perfect spot to relax, meet up with friends, or grab a tasty pastry.
My regularly offered favorite items are the cream puff, financier, and brown sugar muffin.
The cream puff has a great choux on the outside and is generously filled with a smooth vanilla cream. It is rich and delicious.
The financier cake seems to have a seasonal rotation of fruit filling. We’ve had the peach and blackberry and both are very good. The cake is buttery, not too sweet, with a great texture.
The brown sugar muffin is great for a breakfast or lighter treat. It usually also has fruit filling and a nice brown sugar flavor. The raw brown sugar sprinkled on top adds the best crunch!
