The Box & Burgers Eatery

07/18/2024 by TheDishDiary

Kirkland, WA

Located in northern Kirkland, The Box & Burgers Eatery serves up hefty burgers, fried chicken, and Asian fusion cuisine. Their flavors take inspiration from Asia, Hawaii, and even a touch of French and Italian. The portions are generous and enough to share.

Box and Burgers gives off a cozy restaurant vibe and immediately surprised me with their flavor combinations. There were so many burger variations I wanted to try – from the different Asian fusions like Hawaiian, Korean, and Japanese to Mexican, Italian, and French. I went with the Miso Belly and was not disappointed. I was drawn in by the wasabi garlic aioli and unfortunately didn’t get blown away by that flavor, but the thick juicy burger and fatty pork belly made up for it! I also recommend the fries with the yuzu aioli which I loved (though I am a sucker for yuzu).

Overall, I highly recommend checking out Box & Burgers – these enticing flavors will have you becoming a repeat customer!

There are so many delicious sounding options on their menu that it’s hard to pick just one. I had the karaage plate since I love fried chicken and it was very good. The chicken was well battered, fried, and coated in their sweet and tangy sauce. I also really enjoyed the side of chop chop salad. The flavors work really well together to make one of the most satisfying salads I’ve eaten.

My partner had the Da Hilo Boy – a loco moco burger with caramelized onions, bacon, mushrooms, and a fried egg. He said it was rich and tasty, but might try their loco moco plate next time.
