CHICHA San Chen is located in downtown Bellevue across the block from Lincoln Square. Started in Taiwan in 1998, they opened their Bellevue store in the first quarter of 2023. The drinks at CHICHA San Chen are brewed to order and some of their more popular items are the fresh milk with brown sugar boba, and Osmanthus Oolong tea with mango. They are famous for their Dong Ding Oolong tea.

Perfectly brewed with the perfect sweetness (“not too sweet”)! CHICHA San Chen opened early this year and has attracted crowds ever since. Each cup is freshly brewed so there can be a wait, but it’s worth it every time.
The taro balls and boba are both perfectly chewy and delicious. The Dong Ding Oolong tea latte has just the right amount of creaminess and tea flavor. Their Osmanthus Oolong with Mango is refreshing and with the perfect balance of fruit and floral tea notes.
If you have a sweet tooth or want to avoid caffeine, the Organic Milk with Brown Sugar Boba is creamy and sweet, but not too heavy. Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area!

Boba pearls are not created equal and their brown sugar boba is a game changer. Usually, I don’t like boba in my bubble tea, but that’s because I haven’t truly had good boba. These are soft, chewy, and sweet and I would order them every time.
I tried the Organic Milk with Brown Sugar and the drink itself was also delicious. With customizable sweetness and ice levels, the drink was exactly what I wanted. I cannot wait to go again.
