Made in House is described as offering “Korean-leaning” food and is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Their storefront has a dine and deli concept. You can order at the counter to enjoy your meal in their space or easily grab one of their kimbap, pastries, or a la carte items to go.
My biggest impressions from Made in House was how fresh and flavorful all of the dishes were. The vegetarian kimbap was my favorite item; it was so delicious! The radishes and carrot were pickled to perfection and I was not left missing egg, fishcake, or tofu. It was truly a satisfying mouthful when eaten with the creamy avocado, cucumber, and seasoned rice.
I also thought the Daily Bento was a great menu item. It’s ideal for the person struck with indecision since it offers a little bit of everything from japchae, mixed rice with your choice of protein, and tempura kale chips. I could have eaten an entire plate of the kale chips since they were so surprisingly good.
Another excellent dish is Mom’s Medley Bibimbap. The hot stone pot gives the rice a little toast while the load of greens on top give the dish garden-fresh bites. The house-made bibimbap sauce is also a triumph and they sell bottles of it if you feel like taking it home.
Made in House has a following so plan for a short wait during peak meal times or visit during off hours.
